Position Overview:
HGM Associates is seeking an Architectural Intern for our 2027 summer internship program. This opportunity is designed for students who have completed at least two years toward a degree in Architecture and are looking to gain practical experience with a collaborative engineering and architectural consulting firm.
As an Architectural Intern, you will support commercial building project teams while gaining exposure to Revit modeling, architectural documentation, design collaboration, and construction-phase activities.
This internship offers real-life project experience in a smaller firm environment where interns can learn from experienced professionals, contribute to active projects, and build a stronger understanding of architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Revit modeling and architectural design documentation
- Support project documentation, preparation, and review, including specifications, meeting notes, ASIs, RFIs, pay vouchers, and shop drawings
- Participate in design development review meetings and design collaboration activities
- Assist with construction site progress review meetings and related project coordination
- Support architects and project teams through research, documentation, and project follow-up tasks while gaining exposure to professional workflows and standards
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least two years toward a degree in Architecture
- Undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior standing
- Enrollment in a College of Design or Architecture program, including BArch, MArch, or MS tracks
- Interest in gaining practical architectural design and project documentation experience
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment
